Hi,
This one is a diy question but only loosely related to synths...
I fitted a pc 1.44M floppy drive on my Atari ages ago to replace the old
one that died. It works fine, so long as you don't try and format a HD
disk without covering over the hole with a bit of tape. But how easy is
it to get the computer to read and write in the higher format. I have
seen adverts for such a mod, but can I do it at home. I am currently
running TOS 1.4 on a MegaST4. I have been quoted 70 pounds by Keychange
Music to do this, and with an upgrade to TOS 2.06 as well, which
actually seems very good, but if I can save a few bob....
