Tempcos

I took delivery of my tempco resistors this morning from Synthesis
Technology (thanks Paul !).
 
I plan either to build the SEM vco design, or possibly the ASM-1 design.
Has anyone compared these side by side and if so, was there any noticable
difference between them ?
 
Any other suggestions for a vco design welcome. I want something with plenty
of presence - these will be replacing the 3340s in my modular, as I've got a
bit tired of their extreme accuracy...
