best way to do labeling on chassis?

 Anyway, you should glue it so the corners stay down. 

One cool looking way I have used with this process recently to assure the
corners stay down (in addition to glue) is to actually screw them down.  I
picked up some # 8/32 black allen-head bolts about 1/2 inch long at Lowes. 
I drilled throught the panel near the corners and added these 4 bolts. 
They actually add to reather than detract from the look of the panel.
