best way to do labeling on chassis?

One thing I've been thinking of is printing it out on some sort of computer
thing, either laser, or color inkjet and then laminating it and either
gluing or just using the face plate components to hold it on to the chases.

I've not tried it yet, but it seems like the most affordable way for a diy
panel and still get it to look decent.  The laminate could be done at a
copy shop (like kinkos or some such).

If I end up doing my own face place for the ASM-1 (Chris seems to have a
very nice one that I just might go ahead and use) this is the way I'll
prolly proceed.
