Scope FAQs and Washing Machines

Hi Martin, All,

Ok. Who wants to write the Synth-DIYer's O-scope FAQ? The question comes up
every other week - and it's a good (hard) one to answer in a word or two.
We need two people: one from the digital world and one from the analog
world - to meld their minds and write a document that covers both bases.

That being said, I'll reiterate that I get by with my British Telequipment
Model 67, made in 1973 and bought two years back for $75.00(USD). It has 2
rocking Megahertz o' bandwidth, and never fails in audio service.

On a seperate note, sorry to hear about the experience with the washing
machine Martin. Mine was much luckier; I bought a used washer/dryer pair
for $200 when I moved into my house. That was six years ago - no trouble
yet, save one $2 smubber pad. KNOCK ON WOOD.

Then again, they were so mint that they still had all the showroom stickers
affixed, from the late 1960's! What kind of a mind does it take to do that?
