gate time inversion

Ok, I am trying to modify my 777 (303-like clone with sequencer).
I have figured out a way to invert the accent (all accented notes become
unaccented, unaccented become accented).. It was a pure success and it
is great to be able to change the feel of a sequence with just a flip of
a toggle..
But, my most daunting task is ahead: I have been trying to make an
invert switch for the glide function..So far, I have figured out how to
make the glide circuit charge up to the CV value by taking the 5 volt
signal off of the accent output.
Where I am currently having a problem is with the gate time.
When the glide is on a note, it leaves BOTH the slide circuit on AND the
gate signal on..This makes the slide audible, otherwise the slide is
pretty much inaudible because the gate turns off before the slide is
completed... It is actually a pretty cool effect to just hear the slide
just begin then cut off, but I want it to be able to also leave the gate
on..
So, anyone have any ideas? I need to make the short gates long and the
long gates short...
How could you do this with the least amount of circuitry?
