Well, a lot of modulation amount can lead to problems with
aliasing, I think Fs  is 96 kHz, but "FM" sidebands don't
care about that...

Another example of alias in a completely digital system.

If you stay away from this with proper level scaling, it should be no
problem. The sound should be very clean, cool as ice...
OTOH some effect sounds use heavy aliasing, or
you can add some dirt via aliasing...

I think the "FM" section differs from the 802, because it is possible to 
use the PCM section as modulator input...

The PCM samples are crap, I wish one could download other
samples, but this is only possible in the SY99,
and these are getting dirt cheap on thes used gear market...

I think the 802 has no PCM, so it can't have this option.
