Glossary?

Hi all, 

Does anyone know where I might find (perhaps on the web) a glossary of
acronyms comonly used in electronics?  I've figured out lots of the
easy ones, but I still don't know what BBD stands for, for example.

Also, regarding intellectual propety, is it illegal to scan something out
of an encyclopedia to post on the web?  There is an interesting entry
about analog computers (a little over three pages long) in McGraw-Hill's
Concise Encyclopedia of Science and Technology.  It seems me (with my
limited understanding of electronics) that it goes into considerable
depth, and I know (having followed a recent thread on this subject)
that some of you may be interested.  It even has a few paragraphs
describing hybrid computers.
