Sorry if this is off-topic, but I've been trying to repair a DOD digital
delay for the last few weeks, and I was puzzling over what the NE570N
compander was doing there. Is it normal to compress the signal before it
goes through the delay stage? Also, this pedal has infinite repeat.
Would the feedback signal be compressed and expanded on every repeat? I
ask because the infinite repeat sound quality is very good, and I had
enough trouble believing it was being resampled on every repeat, without
being expanded and compressed as well...
