a (lengthy!) comment on this subject, and _then_ I saw
your post.
Re: list problems. Thanks to everyone who offered comments

Always made sure i had reasonable quality twin contact sockets, can't
recall having problems . Stayed away from those real cheap single
contact ones though . Even those molex "contacts by the yard" are
not too bad (twins) . Climatic conditions may play a larger role in
this matter than i have experienced . YMMMV :)
For roadworthy constructins i would now go for turned 4 contact pins,
but nowadays they are widely available and more affordable than
yesteryear :)
As the saying goes : you get what you pay for :)

BTW : Art, i do not experience bounced messages from this list,
