You should hear the Dynacord SRS-56.
It's a BBD-based stereo delay, don't remember the exact delay
time, but I guess it's like 300ms x 2, all done with BBD. Haven't
counted how many, but must be 10+ BBD chips in there.
This box is so *excellent* that I have it directly in the mix all the time.
I have (almost) a dozen other delays, BBD, tape, PCM, delta
modulation, but nothing comes close to the SRS. It's rather
quiet, too - no magic, just a few NE570 chips for noise reduction.
