VCA chips

True, but the fact that the SSM2164 is a recent chip should suggest
that there's some interesting work going on in the VCA market.

   WHere can I order these VCA chips?  I checked mouser and newark, and
   neither had it.

The Analog Devices web page(http://www.analog.com/) lists their
distibutors:  Allied, Newark, etc.
