Wave file archive

Hi All,

Hey, guess what?

In the recent past, there has been talk on the list about an online archive
for wave files. Thanks to the kindness of Mark Gilmore at ASOG, I have
secured 100MB of space on the ASOG (Atma-Sphere Owner's Group) server for
use as a synth-DIY .wav file archive.

Is the interest strong enough to support the efforts required? Please let
me know; I hope to get a bare-bones site up this weekend. Of course, I'll
need some .wav files... When submitting, please include some documentation,
a brief description perhaps, of how the sound was created, and what your
goals were.

Also, how should the site be organized? If one or more individuals
contribute multiple files, I may go ahead and give seperate pages to the
more prolific contributors. Alternately, the site could be organized
alpanumeric or something else boring like that.

Your thoughts please...
