It seems that all linear control VCAs are gone.
Huh? The CA3080 and it's buddies (the CA3060, CA3094, CA3280, and
LM13600) are all linear control when you feed them a control current,
or exponential control when you feed them a voltage and add a little
circuitry.
The SSM2024 is linear control with a current and SSM2164 is exponential
control with a voltage or current.
And those are all in full production. I think.
Would it be possible to make a VCA with CA3280 in the following
manner:
I think the CA3280 has pretty low feedthrough as it stands. Is that
the issue?
