The ARM-1A Audio Ring Modulator was taken from a Sept.'79 Radio
Electronics series by James J. Barbarello on "Electronic Percussion
Synthesizers". It is a simple 3O8O vca thats modulated by a audio
frequency oscillator. It sounds a lot like a ring modulator but isn't
one. It's more like a tremelo and can be used as one ,just modulate
it at a lower frequency. The on-board oscillator can be omitted if
you have a source osc. already. Build 2, modulate at different
frequencys then mix, for a pretty good Cylon. Maybe pre mix phase
shift 1 of them..reverb?...bbuuyy yyoouurr lleeaavveee..
Bill's VoC question reminided me I had this.
