.......er, I doubt that Gene intended to run it beyond the dogs & bats range!
Perhaps decoupling caps could be placed on top of the chip and soldered 
directly to the power pins... (saved my ass a few times)

I used to be insanely jealous of anyone with a cro that went above 20MHz,
