It was many years ago when I experienced a TL0* comparator latching up.
I don't recall what that circuit's function exactly was (a peak
indicator or something). Probably the input voltage exceeded the common
mode range, since the input was driven by another IC powered from the
same +/-15V.
But I do recall that once we found that there were problems we swapped
the TLs and those of one manufacturer latched up while those of another
did not (don't remember which manufacturers).
