I thought about this a little and I have to say I honestly don't 
recall. I think probably it was CYA statement to head off those that 
would think of using it for audio. My gut reservations would be that I 
intended using it for CV kinds of things and took no special 
precautions to optimize settling times of the comparators. Also, the 
lack of a strobe of any kind to indicate valid data would be sorely 
missed at high frequencies. 

On another matter: No one hates letting their ignorance hang out worse 
than I do, but sometimes it's the only way to take care of the basic 
problem. At least ignorace is temporary condition :-) What does AW 
mean in a subject line? Re: is obvious, but what is AW?
