Reticon chips to achieve super wide sweep ranges (35:1); it had to be
substantially redesigned to accomodate the narrower sweep of the
Panasonic chips.

BTW, anyone know what analog delay chips were used in the Marshall Time
Machine?  That device was supposedly capable of extreme sweeps (100:1).  

Anyway, for the reverb, a Panasonic chip would probably do the job just
fine.  The Reticon chips should probably be sought out primarily for
swept-delay functions, where wide sweep ranges are important.
