Prophet 5 problem

Hello fellow synth junkies...

I have just had a couple if Prophet 5's delivered to me and the problem is
this...the one that is still making sounds is fine in unison mode (all keys
functional) but when I switch it to poly, notes on the keyboard start to
drop out.  Now, they don't just cease to exist, it's more like it comes and
goes.  For instance...if the middle A doesn't work...I alternate a pattern
between it and say the C lower down.  After bouncing back and forth a few
times the A will become active.  I have been told be some other Prophet
owners that they have seen this "bug" other units.  What I need to know is
if anyone out there has come across the problem and what they might have
done to repair it...or any ideas on what may be that problem.  Any
suggestions are greatly appreciated

ps...the other one only makes grunting noises (big problems) :(
