Well, it is an interesting thought, but I am not sure that the result
would be acceptable. Also, be aware of mutual inductances...

Well, if you added more taps as you proposed, then you would get a
result similar to a state-variable filter. You could sum the outputs
differently to create the diffrent responces. I haven't done the
homework so I doesn't know the exact small-signal responces and thus
can't calculate the scaling formulas. I am however confident that this
could be done.

It is however interesting to consider that the Moog 904B HP filter has
a very different layout and this was for some now forgotten reason.
