In my attempt to build it from the schematic in this gif it didn't work 
either.
I suspect there is a mistake in the diff amp. (Collector of one of the 
trannies is directly connected to +10V, this one heats up in my ckt)
This "+10" seems not to be part of the original scan, but merely added 
later.
So I would be thankfull if someone could give a few hints.
