Transistors used in Tomg's projects...

In general, reffering to the EMS filter design VCF-6A, could BC547 and 
548s be used instead of the 2n3904 and 2n3906? The transistors used are 
harder to obtain at local electronic stores here in Australia...

you'll have to excuse the qulaitym of my typing.. ive just had a
