Well, think adding and subtracting. If you put, say, the filter CV at
4v, using the cutoff knob, and then modulate with +-3, then you'll go
from 1v to 7v...And usually, when using an LFO, you *will* use it for
some already set voltage, right?

What happens if you don't? Well, that really depends on the module on
the receiving end, doesn't it? Some will behave nicely with a negative
CV, some will just use the parts that are positive (giving, say, a
chopped effect to a VCA), some others might do something completely
weird, I suppose :-)

Then again, it ought to be simple to hack in a bias voltage to keep
the LFO oscillating in the 0-10v range, if wanted. Or a variable bias.
