hello,
i would like to start a discussion on solid-state keyboards (i.e. a
keyboard without mechanical switches like on a piano/organ). i have no
real idea how solid-state keyboards work but i can clearly see the
advantage of no moving parts ... .
only as a proof that such keyboards exist, look at the Buchla
Music-Easel.
How does this design (buchla) work ? Are there alternative solutions to
a solid-state keyboard ?
what are the diadvantages of this style keyboards ? i see that people
used to ordinary keyboards probably wouldn´t like it.. => no keys to
press.
any ideas ?
inquisitive greetings, ;-))
Timo
BTW: i have desoldered four 726 ICs from a 100% working radio. how much
are these worth ? anybody (europe please) interested ?
