As an OE (Optical Engineer) and definitely a -EE -KE and a host of other
minuses, all I can say is:
I can't buy what I want, I must build it myself, I want to learn how
from all of you, so ALL of you PLEASE STAY ON THE LIST! PLEASE SHARE
YOUR KNOWLEDGE!
PS, I found "The Oscillator At Work" by John F. Rider (1940) which
gives more tube oscillator circuits in a local used book store. One
interesting circuit (Pg 51- 52) uses a tetrode, is frequency stabilized
but has a "feedback" resistor which is used to minimize "harmonic
content". Could the circuit be used to oscillate in the audio range and
what does "harmonic content" sound like? Maybe its good, maybe its bad,
maybe it needs an ADSR!
PSS, Thanks for the other titles Bill
Malcolm, (my 2 zorkmids - look it up)
