Hammond delay thingie (was: mysterious delay lines)

I've got one of the LC delay lines sitting in a pile in my attic, along
with the rest of my M-2. It's got about fifteen inductors in it. I've been
trying to think what to do with it; wonder if it could be employed in some
sort of delay device. One would have to duplicate the scanner, though.
Or... digital scanner?
