mysterious delay lines

They are probably made for delaying one scan line in PAL television sets. If I
remember correctly, it is a plexiglass block where the signal from a transducer
bounces a couple of times and then is picked up at the other end. It was 20
years ago since school, where I learned this stuff. As the line frequency is
15625 hz, the delay time should be 64 microseconds. Or am I doing the math
wrong?

Subject: mysterious delay lines

Looking through my bin of mysterious surplus parts, I've found these
oddities: little plastic rectangles marked "delay line".

The symbol upon these is a diamond, with "KSS" inside. They model
numbers
at MS-15 and MS-19. There are 4 leads coming out the bottom.

Anyone have any data on these things? If they are what I think they
are,
they have a million uses...
