Yes it the Maxx BRM-1A really works. The 3046 will not blow up! The NS app
notes does mention the pin 13 thing, so I guess I should rearrange it  but no
explosions so far. It says "to maintain proper isolation and normal
transistior action" nothing about self destruction. If it adds crosstalk it
may even help in a balance-modulator.
