Yeah, the potenital humor content of anything called Uranus cannot be
overstated. Inasmuch as I like the way it sounds, this probably wouldn't be
the best choice for the name... Hard to take seriously, at the best.
Which reminds me of a serious marketing flub by CBM back in the 80's. Seems
they wanted to sell the VIC-20 in Germany, but there was a conflict with
another manufacturer who used the VIC name. So in their infinite wisdom,
the marketing guys at Commodore renamed it the "Vixen-20". Remember this
Juergen?
'Vixen' is word meaning a prostitute in German.
Also, in Mandarin Chinese "Coca-Cola" (co-ca-co-la) means "Bite the wax
tadpole" and Coke's campaign "Coke adds life" got translated into Mandarin
meaning "Coke brings back your ancient ancestors from the dead".
