This is strange but true...
A little history.
I lost this PAIA kit years ago, unbuilt & waiting for me to complete.
I have built, given away, sold,& begged people to take away many a PAIA
modular, proteus etc.. But I kept the EK-9 shepard function generator. I
just never had the time to complete (or even start) building it. It was
allways put aside for somthing more exciting at the time.
Over the last couple of years or so I thought about it & started to look
for it (I mean really look for it!) but was never able to find it. I
finally gave up figuring I gave it, or threw it away.
And now the strange part...
I was cleaning the cat box...And I was by the sink in our basement laundry
room, I looked upon the ironing board my wife had set up, and just sitting
there was my missing kit. All parts & the PCB, I could not believe this. I
called up to her and asked "where did you find this? I have been looking
for this years!".
Her response was "That thing?... It just was allways in my way, I kept
moving it and no matter where it put it, it was still in my way. I was
down in the basement looking for the lantern for our camping trip and it
was in my way again. This time I left it out to ask you about it &
possibly throw it out"!
Why is this going out on the list?
I cannot find the wiring diagram, schematics or anything else about it. Can
anyone supply any info about this item. Will it finally be worth my time
to build it or should I loose it again?
Is it as cool as I remember?
The moral? Clean the cat box often & talk to your wife about your
EM projects. She may not be interested, but you might find out about
your missing shit.
