Deoxit is a pot/contact cleaner. I have used it on my stuff and a ton of
things I have repaired for years now without a problem. Just the opposite . It
seems to work great but your experience may differ if you try it. Try blowing
out the pot with clean compressed air and only use a small amount of Deoxit.
The label says "Dichlorofluoroethane" an approved sub for freon and "NO CFCs".
