TB slide circuit

Jeez!! you guys have really beat this relatively simple concept to
death...
All the slide circuit is is a slew converter.. You can retrofit the
tb303 slide circuit into any roland cv instrument with the proper
voltages and scaling.
to me, this is what I see.. it goes a little like this..

gate output of cv converter > 555 timer (with variable delay) > into
slide enable of slide circuit 
CV in to input of slide amp > out of slide amp to instrument..

This test circuit should show you what you need to know.
It seems that the actual circuit would generate a constant slide time
which can be calculated.
Although I have never looking into a real 303 ( owned one, but didnt
look into it) I HAVE looked at my Syntecno TeeBee.
