trigger inputs on toys

A little while ago I fixed a 1/8" jack into the circuit of a toy (some cheezy
medical doctor toy) and got it to trigger from my Accent trigger on my Boss
DR-110. Great little effect. Made it go
"he,he,he,he,hell,hello,he,he,hello,hello this is the doc"
in sync with the accents on my DR-110 or the rim shot trig from my TR-707.
Pretty fun really. Then I threw a switch into the circuit to jumble up the
words and sometimes I can get it to sound like a weird clockwork orange
soundtrack...
Anyway, I was wondering if others have done similar mods to toys and what they
have done. Also, it is possible to just throw a "Y" adaptor off of a trig out
in order to route the trig into two devices isnt it? Cause "Alphie" is next.
I already got control of the sound to make it go beep boop etc. to the trig.
Im sure people are sick of the S+S thread so you can talk about other toys.
Im planning on doing a show with just the following 8 items to experiment:
1.Speak n Spell
2.Little doctor
3.Alphie
4.Theremin
5.Home made analog module
6.Korg Poly 6 with nintendo power pad(still in works)
7.Oberheim DX Drum machine
8.??? ideas?
misc. fx peds.
My partner has gone insane because of the circuit bending experiments, so I
might be alone for this one. You know "hehehehellhellohello this is the doc"
over and over about 1000 times in 8 hours.
Or perhaps I can make a miny 1/8" jack patch bay and have my CV trigger out
from the DX go in and have 8 outs to the equipment... Ideas, suggestions?
