What makes it _totally_ inappropriate is that this list was set up to
discuss do-it-yourself synthesizer construction.  Many people on this list
came here from ANALogue HeAVEN, a very low signal-to-noise (or is that very
high noise-to-signal?) list, in hopes of creating a forum which was more
informative, less wasteful of time.  As such, it has remained remarkably
on-target & flame-free (as long as BHutchins isn't mentioned), and for that
everyone is to be commended.

Music is a very fractious subject.  It's a Pandora's Box which doesn't need
to be opened, at least not here.  If you want to discuss synths in relation
to electronic music, by all means, join ANALogue HeAVEN. (SUBSCRIBE message
to analogue-request at hyperreal.com). May God have mercy on your in-box.

If you want to create a directory of synth-diyers, great, but I don't see
any need to discuss that.
