For what it's worth:

PAiA cases and panels start out in EasyCAD for mechanical design, 
checking part clearances and producing drawings for the metal shop, 
isometric projections for the manuals and so on, then a dxf file gets 
flown into Corel for final panel graphics. 

Works for me, but I ain't no artiste :-)
