DIY sampler competition

.....The simple DIY sampler I want is like this:

A chunk of ram, pref that cheap stuff from old 286s.
A button to 'start filling it up'.
A number of outputs, each with two pots and a trigger jack.
the first pot says where the triggered output starts.
the second pot says where it stops.

Well, it could only be better if the pots could be replaced by cv's.
And, if each of these trigger jacks had a switch beside it for
'reverse replay'.

And a master 'start point' pot to 'wind' the sample back and foward in memory.

Well there are other things I would like, but the above in my opinion would
be cheap, doable, and INCREDIBLY FUN.

the first person to produce a working circuit diag for such a device gets
$200.

Come on, it's not like I asked for it to be polyphonic!
