 Corel is just too honking slow to use (if compared to Freehand or
 Illustrator)! Besides, it might be a bit more "starter friendly", but its
 interface gets too complicated when you really start to use it. I use
 Freehand, because it's fast (and when you use it for a while you'll learn
 all the hotkeys etc. so you can work very fluently) and it's a bit
 cheaper than Illustrator. But in my opinion there are no crucial 
 differences between Freehand and Illustrator (except the price).
