That should be very simple to fix. If it's a bad chip (rare), and if
the failure symptom is a current drain issue, then locating the hot
chip should be simple. Even if you dodn't want to fix it yourself,
PAiA will do it for a very reasonable cost.

Hmmm, I'd say, at least, "Then you haven't heard *my* FatMan." Also,
I'd hope that your experiments are more scientific than pitting a four
voice tube circuit with multi filters, LFOs and the like against a
stock FatMan.
