speak and spell

I used to have access to a faulty one years ago, stretched out on a piece of
chipboard. With a little coaxing it would fire up in a weird mode (speach
table pointing to the wrong bit of ROM or something), a produce the most
wonderful series of gibberish sounds.  Lots of fun. I used it a fair bit in
my recordings.
