DIY Synth

Hi all,

Just a thought here.  Couldn't one use the guts from 16 Paia Fatman
units, a midi "note on" decoder/router (development required here!) and
some digital potentiometers to make a 16 note polyphonic analog synth?
One could even add memory for the patches created.  Wouldn't this be
allot cheaper than a fully loaded Oberhiem OB-Mx?  I'm not really sure
if the two units would be comparable though.
