.....I was helpng a local theatre group (Snuff Puppets) with electronics
recently, and one simple thing was a Tandy memo recorder (which uses these
lo-fi chips) which we put in a trunk of one of the creature outfits..
the audience are smapled as they yell into it, then it is distorted and
played back.. a lot of fun, esp. with a young audience..
what I am looking for is a source of those 'gender bender' phone chips..
a very crude pitchshifter device used to discourage heavy breathers
the Tandy memo recorder is like a fat credit card, you can get a line out
across the piezo speaker
