DIY smapler..

Basically I was thinking of a simple thing, not really caring about
sampling rate or any of that jazz, just something to throw in a cool sample
here and there...  A drum machine would need storage and stuff, forget that
- too complicated, the simpler the better.. to an extent.  It would be a
cool addition to any setup because it would be cheap and basic..   It
always seems that my more limited gear gets the most usage anyway....
Video game samples, grainy 8 khz wave shapes, it would just open up cool
possibilities..
