Sticks of joy.

Y-ellow Y'all.
        Ok I have a convoluted kinda question about getting hold of some
joysticks. First let me apologize for dropping off the face of the planet as
I have been doing over the past week. It's time for the big downgrade to
win95 and the perpetual cosmic giant killer is placing all kinds of new and
exciting obstacles in front of me. Including dead PSUs, crashing ISPs, lost
passwords and other real-world problems. It's a bit of a nightmare and I may
be in and out of reality a while longer unfortunately. 

In the mean time I need to know where I can purchase some suitable joysticks
and other refinements. This is a bit of a strange one. I have this old TV
games console. You know the really old quasi analogue ones. This was one of
the better ones with a cartridge slot and stuff and two joy sticks. Which,
as it happens, are rather nice. Now I was going to adapt this thing as a
control surface. I've got 10 really nice DUNCAN faders to go with it. It's a
nice little plastic moulding and the cartridge slot is just made for a 40x2
LCD display.

BUT! I'm being badgered by a serious collector of these things down here who
has offered to pay for me to build up something similar in exchange for this
thing. Man this guy is into collecting slide rules. Know what I mean. Now I
wasn't ready for doing this project and I certainly am not in the position
to do anything about it whilst I'm in the grip of this up-grade mess.
However he want's to do something about it now so I'm needing to find some
"musically suitable" joy sticks (Analogue of course) and other suitable
stuff to make a decent control surface out of. Only I don't really wanna
have to think about this now.

Any suggestions would be useful. Then I can say to the guy. "Look it's gonna
cost _this_ much if it's still worth it to you then it's yours." One way or
another it'll get him off my back. Man I'm glad I didn't tell him about the
other stuff I trashed. :)
