Pots

Hello all,
I was wondering what a good source for pots are- probably someone out there
has bought a bunch of them for their analog stuff. The ones from Radio
Shack are expensive and have a slow response to them. I've bought grab
bags of Alps 100k linears in the past but that was fifteen years ago. What
types (cermet vs conductive plastic vs carbon vs ??) are preferable for
price, durability and response? Who's the best/cheapest distributor for
them these days? Thanks in advance.

Steve C
