hello everyone

I've been lurking here for a while, but i figured it was time to actually
post.  i'm a novice at project electronics, and i'm looking for anyone who
would be interested in giving me some practical advice on some small-scale
projects i'm working on.  right now it's just stompbox type stuff, though my
plan is to move onto modular synths (of course) and more advanced gear once
i get the basics down.  i'm an electrical engineering student, so i have
some background (though i'm only a freshman).  i also have some project
assembly experience, building a paia vocoder (hi john!) and a robot in class
(both still unfinished unfortunately); so i don't need any totally basic
info, more like advice on some specific design points (though like i say,
the designs aren't horribly ambitious at this point).

this list.
