Karl,
A few months ago I got this response on a similar query:

Hello!

You can, BUT! You have to duplicate the muting ckt 6x. The Six-Trak

tunes itself every 2 minutes or so whenever no one is playing it.

Whenever it tunes itself, it mutes the audio stage, because it plays

through ALL the voices at several frequencies at FULL VOLUME and

WIDE OPEN filter. (sounds like a fax machine gone haywire!)

Soooo... you have to mute the outputs when it does this - I think

it would be kind of annoying if it didn't mute.

You CAN turn off all oscillators - each of the synth chips has a audio in

on it - it can handle only about a volt of input, tho'.

                                              Hope this helps!

                                               Duane Balvage

Alright Duane! Now does anybody out there know what synth chip he's
talking about and where I can find a pin listing? That would be cool.
