I agree. You also get very different sounds depending on the order.
I always used my Big Muff feeding the Green Ringer. If I remember
correctly
the Ringer tended to mask (or gate?) the noise of my Big Muff. The new
Big Muffs are a lot quiter than the ones I had in the seventies.
Speaking of Electro-Harmonix, has anyone seen a schematic for The Clone
Theory.
It was a chorus, probably SAD-based. But what was interesting is that
the driving
LFO wasn't sine or triangle. It sounded like a rectified sine, slow at
the top
of the sweep and quickly moving down and back up.
