starting a modular - the power supply (help!)

I've finally got the time and a little cash, (and I just got to finally
try out the Nord Modular...) so I'm going to finally begin on my dream of
owning a modular synth. I'm going to start with a power supply, and I've
been looking all over for a decent schematic, that I can build, that will
be useful but not too expensive. (I'm going to start by building simpler
modules, like the Penfold or something. My interests lie in sound
manipulation, not tonal music.) Is the supply shown on page 350 of The Art
of Electronics sound and worth building (with addition of a fuse and
switch, I suppose)? Thanks for any help! (and it's good to be back on
the list, after an extended abscence)
