What is 'quality'?

connector. Wire through grommet and knotted is too cheap for even
me).

See, this is the neat thing about all of us all being different. In
a Radio World review of the TubeHead they really liked it and thought
this was one of the coolest parts. The reviewer found a sort of
metaphysical release in the act of cutting off the plug and spent a
paragraph on how the connectors should be cut off of _every_ piece of
wall-wart equipment and the cords passed through a hole and knotted
:-)

What can I say? Radio people ...

preamp sold for $1000.

Oh, OK. Some dimension of a multi-dimesional thing called "quality"
surely must be greater in a $1000 amp than a $100 dollar one. Why not?
The $100 one may take some other dimension of "quality" to a whole new
place :-)

If there's a keyboard in the stack, you definitely got a bargain,
(again, assuming they weren't assembled with a blow-torch :-). I went
through our box of spare keys and we have a couple of the ones you
need. I'm sending them along with my compliments, my way of saying
thanks to a good customer, even if he is slightly mis-guided :-)
(It's a joke, folks, see the smiley? Let's not start taking ourselves
too seriously here. Please, not _here_)

based on input from THIS GROUP. How many manufacturers would do that?
